And they're a lot of fun to make, too! 😊 In this workshop, I invite you to build your own set of wonky vases with me. We will explore some hand building and sculpting techniques, and paint the vases with colored clay slip. It will be a fun and inspiring workshop in which you will explore your creativity. And: the vases will be yours to keep afterward.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll experience levels are welcome ❤️ Find all the details below:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMake your own Wonky vases\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn this workshop, you will be making a set two to three Wonky Vases. You will choose and create your own designs (f.e. a pup, kitty or a little person) and you will paint them with colored clay slip. I will be there to guide you through the process and provide you with tips and inspiration. After the workshop I will fire your pieces, and you will receive them by mail within 4 weeks.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe workshop will take place in my cozy ceramics studio in Utrecht, and it will have a total duration of about eight hours spread over one weekend. Classes will run until 2pm, after which you will have plenty of time to explore Utrecht. During workshop hours there will be coffee, tea, and an occasional snack to fuel your creativity 🍪\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFirst part of the workshop (March 20)\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe will start the workshop with an introduction on hand-building. I will share some technical instructions and you will be building your vases using the rolling technique. You will attach bottoms, sculpt your vases (fe give them little ears and snouts) and prepare them for painting, wich we will do on the next day. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFirst part of the workshop (March 21)\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn Sunday, you will be painting your vases with colored clay slip. I love color and will make sure there will be lots of different colors to paint your vases with : ) I will also share several painting and pattern techniques, so you can give them your own personal touch. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the workshop, I will ask you to leave your creations in the studio. In case you would like your vases to have gold details on them, I can apply this for you afterward. This will cost an additional 7 euros for each piece.
