Seconds Collection: Stacey the Pot

€96,00

We have run out of stock for this item.

Hand sculpted & hand painted pot, dipped in a transparent glaze.

Size approximately 7,5cm high and 7,5cm wide.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT STACEY THE POT:
Stacey's little feet came loose from the bottom when I unloaded her from my kiln. This happened because I was very inpatient, and opened the hot kiln too early in the cooling process, which caused the glaze to have a reaction. I repaired her feet with golden glue, in a way that's similar to the Kintsugi method. She is now stable, and you can see the golden glue around her feet, which looks quite charming. Stacey the pot is offered with a discount.

The Pottery Parade's pots are thrown on the pottery wheel. Afterwards, they are sculpted and painted with lots of care, giving each of them their own unique character. The clay slips used for decoration are produced provided by Studio Noot & Swart based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
